Free School Meals
I agree to carry out free school meal system absolutely. When I was the elementary school student, the system was selective welfare. There were some friends who received free school meals. They were often kidded and cried. So I think all people should be same. Of course, rich people wouldn’t want that because their life is better than them who are living from hand to mouth. However, human can’t live alone in the society so they should follow that and give a hand.
During discussion, the other member disagreed because flood gate would be open. Other policies relative with free school meals need to be accepted. But the government will distinguish whether It’s good or not. So I think there is no point. The more serious problem is tax. In order to start that, Nation should pay the tax more than now although the current tax is burden to them. In a sense, free school meals wouldn’t be good. However, our children are going to get this benefit in the future. Finally, we must have the mind that it’s not waste of money.
Until now, it’s still going on. Actually, It’s impossible to be success and step up without hesitate. I’m sure that free school meals will make Korea have the good welfare country.
I was impressed by your experience of elementry school. I think they are sensitive and sheltered. So selelctive welfare must be hurt their mind. In this respect, I agree with free shool meals for entire children.
답글삭제Yes, You got a point. Our children might get free school meals. But what if our children get low quality education service. Do you still agree with that? In order to carry out that plan, we have to set a huge budget. Then, we should cut down the education budget. It is unreasonable. I want my children to get high quality education system.
답글삭제My opinion is similar your jounal. Free school meal policy provides all students benefit and our descendants will be given benefaction of Free school meal. So, our country should proceed on this policy as soon as possible.
답글삭제I agree with your opinion. The policy is not populism and wasting money. In social dimension, the policy must excute. For children, it is really needed.
답글삭제You're right. That's why it is hard to introduction the selective system. Although get a benefit from this system, could in difficult situation because of the partial sight. It's the problem all over the society with complexity.
