Dok-do

             I agree that Dok-do is belongs to Korea. However, Japan insists Dok-do is territory of Japan. According to the presentation that the team made, the range of territory will be wider than now for the country which has Dok-do. I think that there are some reasons. First reason is resources. Under Dok-do, There are many kinds of resources which are founded yet so Japan wants to find out them with their skill. Second reason is marine organism. Around Dok-do, There are many kinds of fish so the fishermen can get fish a lot. As a result, the ocean culture of Japan could be developed beyond description. Third is military. Japan tried to have the dream of conquering the world but it’s failed so I think Japan wants to realize the dream.

             If Korea lost those, we would be faced with the hard time. So we must try to keep Dok-do. At first, everyone living other countries doesn’t mind this problem. Finally, they made a mistake that they say Dok-do is Japan. And it’s very important role of the government. When Japan insists that not Dok-do, Takeshima is right, the government has no special response against Japan. Regardless of the power, the strong refutation is a matter of course. I think our mind is the big problem.

             Once Korea lost the country to Japan, not to happen the bad and sad situation again, we should try to keep Dok-do.

Ban physical punishment

           I agree to ban physical punishment. We are not animal. We are human. When we make the mistake, the teacher or parents try to bring a person to his or her senses instead of physical punishment. Rather, students could take to evil course because of the rod. Actually, they are arriving at puberty so they are so sensitive beyond description. If they were spanked seriously, they could assume a defiant attitude. So I want to suggest the good way.

           That is penalty point. I know some schools already carried out that system but the countermeasure is weak. There is no point to start penalty point. Students look down or don’t listen or come at teachers. They think that it looks good. So I recommend that if students got many penalty points, they should go the army base for some weeks. Army base has the strict rule and strong people so students couldn’t come at them. After army camp, they will obey a command in the school.

           My main point is that giving time to students what they made fault and understanding their mind are better I think instead of the rod. And students should also change the attitude. They respect their parents and teachers.

Radioactivity

          We don’t know whether Korea got the damage by radioactivity or not. That’s why radioactivity is very dangerous. In the future, we’ll know the result. Now the government of Japan says that it’s safe but many people including me can’t believe that because recently the rabbit which was near Fukushima had the deformed rabbit which didn’t have the ears. So now, many Japanese are worried. From now on, the Korea government should prepare the prevention from radioactivity for a rainy day not to make the accidents. Don’t breathe freely. We need to monitor the way of wind and water to check the amount of radioactivity from Japan. Actually, it’s very hard to get rid of radioactivity so after checking that, the government gives nation a warning.

The other way is that Korea needs to send the specialists regarding radioactivity to damaged area because Japan doesn’t give right information to us. That’s a reason that we don’t need to donate money for Japan. Just giving a hand is the best way not money. The living level of Japan is better than Korea. In a sense, helping is too good for them because of their behavior. Even though we try to help them with money or hands, they refuse money or insist Dokdo is belongs to Japan or distort the real history.

In other words, due to earthquake, many Korea companies could get the benefit like car, semiconductor, iron, and so on. Economy is also important. However, we must think health.

Working Problem

           Once the government focused on growth policy, all of things were so bad beyond description. However, I think now working environment of Korea is getting better than former. There are some reasons. First, many employees used to stay up all night for work at the basement where there were dust, no windows and ventilator and so on. So some people were died because of pneumonia. However, now it’s almost duty to install a ventilator and other equipment for the good environment and a lot of companies cooperate with a cleaning company.

Second, the payment is getting increasing a little by little each year but it’s necessary to increase wage a lot because recently, the price of products has been increased. However, it’s not yet solved that is working time. Although OECD says that there is no relation between productivity and working time, most of companies try to increase the productivity for the benefit based on working time so they want employees to overwork. Instead the companies give them money.

Last, now a day, there are good welfare system and the baby care center for the equal between men and women which were undreamed about 20 years ago. In addition, it’s getting good. Finally, in person, due to Jeon tae il who burned himself to death for working environment, we could get the good benefits.

Abortion

         I agree to support abortion. First, let’s think about poor environment. When pregnant women decide abortion, it would be careful decision. They would consider their baby’s life. Most of people who don’t want to give birth to baby are living from hand to mouth so the living standard is low beyond description. As a result, it will be continued to baby because these days, it’s very hard to overcome a needy life.

           Second, let’s think about unexpected pregnancy. If you can’t afford to have a baby because of work or economy and so on I mean you are not ready yet, could you raise your baby well? It would be hard then abortion would be good solution. These examples are better. However, look at the bad situation: rape. Woman who was raped don’t think about that day and want to give birth to baby rather than baby could remind her bad memory. Of course, several women raise baby so the government must support her.

           Although abortion has pros, some people say that “We must respect the life”. That is right but baby’s life could be harder.

           The careful decision is the most important but the young generation thinks that it’s not a big deal so we need to build up the right education system not to make a decision on purpose.

GMO

Genetically Modified Organisms

I agree to carry out GMO just in some parts not all parts. I’ll explain some parts. First, it’s useful for poor people. Until now, there are many countries which are not able to raise food due to bad environment and people who are living from hand to mouth because of increased population rate. For them, we need to make the best use of GMO. GMO can help to increase the production and make the plant which can live in the handicap. However, we shouldn’t access ecosystem. If ecosystem were broken, man would also die so we must keep the line.

Second is the medicine part. It’s too hard to cure all diseases then we can overcome incurable disease by using GMO. When it became common, the medical fee would be down. As a result, many poor people will unload their heart about money because the fee is very expensive so it’s big burden to them. Then we have to also be careful that not to use GMO for live forever.

Third, recently the environment is faced with the serious problem because of developed industrialization. There are many deserts. By developing microorganism, it would be possible to purify the air, water, soil and heavy metal.

Some people don’t want to take GMO products so the companies need to label each item. One of member said that is the right of customers. GMO is developed for god intentions like dynamite so GMO must not be used in many bad ways.

Social Commerce

Social commerce

Now a day, social commerce is very popular in Korea because customers can buy the products cheaply. However, there are some problems. First, it’s possible just big shops so it makes more gap between rich and poor shops. The shops have to sell lots of tickets with big discount and invest a lot of money to advertisement and social commerce company. How the small shops do that. It’s burden. As a result, shops which sell the coupon are located near Gang-Nam, Myeong-Dong and other rich areas and earn a lot of money. On the other hand, small shops go bankrupt.

Second, frauds often happened after selling the tickets but companies which sell the ticket don’t try to refund money. Based on discussion time, ticket just has the small words that “You can’t use this one on weekend or holiday and without reservation. So they need to change the way to inform. And company should keep the duty regarding bulletin board. Some people sell the ticket on there. It’s ok but the company must manage that in order to prevent the frauds.

Third, it causes excessive consumption. Customers can get the discount about 50% so they buy many coupons on impulse. So they will waste money and have lack of economy consciousness. And companies don’t have the exaggerative advertisement.

Finally, social commerce has become the part of our society. It gives a lot of effects so we must use this with clean way.
